  • 6 cantomato paste (15 oz)
  • 270 ozwater
  • 2yellow onion (large)
  • 6 clovegarlic
  • 6 tbspVegetable oil
  • 3 lbCountry pork rib
  • 2 lbItalian sausage
  • 1salt to taste
  • 1pepper to taste
  • 1sugar to taste (upto 3 cups)
  • 3 tspSweet basil
  • Meatballs
  • 3 lbground beef chuck
  • 3 lbground pork
  • 2 cupbread crumbs
  • 2 cupParmesan cheese
  • 2 tspParsley
  • 6eggs
  • 4 clovegarlic
  • 2yellow onion (medium)
  • 1salt
  • 1ground black pepper

    Sauté 3 large onions and six cloves garlic and add to large pot with 6 cans of tomato paste and 270 oz of water.

    Preheat oven to 400. In a large mixing bowl, mix the ground beef chuck, ground pork, bread crumbs, one medium onion chopped, two choices of garlic chopped, Parmesan cheese, parsley, eggs, salt, and black pepper. Form into 1 to 1-1/2 inch loose meatballs. Place the meatballs about 1/2 inch apart on a rack in a cookie sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes, rotate meatballs every 10 minutes.
