Moong Dal Chilla with Tomato chutney
A breakfast recipe to relish on a Sunday.

Soak moong dal overnight and grind it in the morning. The consistency should be little thick. Keep this aside.

Prepare the filling of the chilla. Add oil into pan and add cumin seeds. Once brown add bell pepper, onion, tomato and green chillies chopped into small pieces. Add mashed paneer, saute and remove within 5 mins. Put chopped coriander on top.

Prepare tomato chutney. Take 1 green tomato and paste it in the mixer. Heat little oil in pan and add 1 pinch mustard seeds. Add the tomato paste and saute for 5 mins. Add salt and sugar as per taste. Remove and add cherry pieces on top and keep it aside.

Prepare the chillas. Take the grinded moong dal and add pinch of baking soda, jeera powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and ajwain. Mix well.

Heat the pan and put oil on it and brush it all over. Once hot, spread the above mix and cover it and let it cook in low flame for 3 mins.

After 2 mins turn the chilla carefully and let it's other side cook for 3 mins. Once it's brown remove and keep aside.

Add the filing prepared in step 2 on the chilla and fold it into half.

Serve it hot with the tomato chutney.
