Moong dal with pui saag

Wash and soak moong dal for 20 minutes.

Heat water in a pan and add dal into it and bring to boil. Cook till dal is half done. Keep this aside.

Heat a pan and add oil to it.Add cumin seeds and red chillies. Once the seeds start cracking add pui saag and saute for few minutes.

Put the half cooked dal into this.Add turmeric powder,salt and sugar.

Boil it for 10 minutes. Remove and garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies before serving.
