Jollad rotti means sorgham flour or jowar ki roti. It's a staple food of North Karnataka. I have served this roti with Bagara Baingan And Cluster Beans ki Sabzi.

Steps

Seive the flour

Boil water
- 3
Make a well in the flour,when we add hot water it shouldn't come out

Now slowly slowly mix the flour with water, if needed add normal water, knead the dough with your hands.

Make soft dough

Take one small ball from the dough and keep on your palm and flatten with your right hand.

Sprinkle good amount of jowar flour on working plat form, place flatten ball on the flour.

Then with your palms,lightly press as well as rotate the roti, if required add more flour.

U can make as big as u want

Now gently lift the roti, then place it onhot tawa

Spread water with your fingers, or with the piece of cloth

Let it cook

Turn and let it cook on other side also till you see light brown spots

Gently press with cloth

Once cook take it out and keep it in roti basket.

Serve with any regional sabzi.
