Steps

Cream butter and sugar and n a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in rind.

Fold flour , poppy seeds and juice into butter mixture. Spoon into a greased cake tin. Bake in a moderate oven (180°) for 30-35 mins, or until cooked.

Allow to cool.

Mix icing sugar, orange rind and orange juice together to form a thick soft icing.

Once cake is cooled use a large butter knife to smooth icing onto cake. Add chocolate buttons and a little orange rind.
