Ingredients

  • 3/4 cupthousand island dressing
  • 1/4 cupDusseldorf mustard
  • 2 tbspwine vinegar
  • 1 tspplus 1 cup minced onion (divided)
  • 1 tspminced garlic
  • 1 dashof Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dashof hot pepper sauce
  • 8 ozcorned beef (ground or shredded)
  • 6 ozshredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cupsauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 15egg roll wrappers
  • 1vegetable oil

Steps

    Make dipping sauce by combining dressing, mustard, vinegar & 1tsp minced onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce & hot pepper sauce. Set aside.

    To make rolls: Combine corned beef, cheese, sauerkraut, & remaining 1/4 cup of onion & mix well. Place about 2tbsp of the mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper. Rollupas directed on the package, sealing edges with a little water.

  3. 3

    Deep fry rolls in 2 to 3 inches of oil, heated to 325 to 350°F, until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning to brown evenly. When done, remove from oil with slotted spoon and drain on paper towel. Serve with dipping sauce.
