heat the butter in a large kettle or pan

add the garlic, onion, celery, bell peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini, saute until tender

add the potatoes and tomatoes and saute for 5 minutes

pour in the chicken broth along with the diced chicken, Worcestershire sauce, basil, thyme, and oregano

simmer gently for 15-20 minutes (or until potatoes are cooked), yet firm

stir in the noodles and cheese

cook for 2 minutes longer
