This recipe is literally SO easy and everybody loves them! I've never had a complaint. Anytime I have to bring a dish anywhere, people actually request these cookies. They're wonderful! They're a very soft, very gooey cookie.

My whole family went nuts for these cookies..I rolled half of them in confectioners sugar before baking. I went as long as 9 1/2 mins for a crunchy cookie. 8-8 1/2 mins gets a Crispy outside and a Fudgy inside.

These cookies are a brownie batter made in to cookie form. They are moist and chewy and have a texture of a fudge brownie. They are great with ice cream with the cookie warmed slightly in the microwave. They also freeze well.

added 1/2 c peanut butter, 1/2 c butter as a substitute for straight plain butter with white cake mix. made super soft & fluffy peanut butter & chocolate chip bars! ~(o.o)~
