Ingredients

  1. 300 gramsall purpose flour
  2. 1 tbspfast active yeast
  3. 1,cup warm milk
  4. 2 tbspvegetable oil
  5. 1 tbspsugar
  6. 1/2 tspsalt
  7. 1egg for egg wash

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix yeast with warm milk and sugar and rest for about 10 minutes, the yeast will froth

  2. 2

    Add the oil and salt and flour and make a dough like for chapati. Rest the dough in an oiled covered bowl for an hour for the dough to puff and double.

  3. 3

    Knock down the dough, and prepare a baking sheet.

  4. 4

    Kneed the dough and divide into small balls) 70 gms) or so and arrange on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash and rest for about 10 minutes

  5. 5

    In the meantime preheat the Oven to 180°c. Bake your buns for about 10-12 minutes, prick with a toothpick to check for readiness.

  6. 6

    Remove from oven and cool, serve with tea, cocoa or milk,
