My mom was a nanny when she was younger, and brought this meatloaf recipe from that family. It's so delicious, I'll never need another meatloaf recipe. Please read the directions first, since this isn't all exact measurements. But trust me, it's not hard to get right.

This meatloaf is awesome! My mum would make it and add diced green peppers into it, but me and my fiancé don't like peppers. One of our favorite dishes, I hope you enjoy!

I would keep a bowl of hot water when mixing it together, for dipping your fingers in, cause my hands froze using meat right out of the refrigerator :-)

My kids love when I make this and just can't get enough. I took my mom's recipe and jazzed it up a lot. I live in a humid environment so sometimes I need to add more or less breadcrumbs depending on the weather. I recommend using a serrated knife to cut it when finished, it helps to keep the bacon attached to the slices.

This was given to me by a friend of the family. My own family recipe calls for eggs, and oatmeal instead of cracker crumbs. I tweaked this to add more flavor.
