Ingredients

25 minutes...
4 servings
  1. 1 kgspinach leaves chopped and washed
  2. 1medium sized onion
  3. 1 tspjeera
  4. 1 pinchHing
  5. 200 gSoftened dehydrated Anjeer
  6. 50 gChilgoza seeds (Pine seeds)Neje in Hindi..
  7. Salt.As per taste
  8. 1 tspmakki flour roasted
  9. 1 tspkasoori methi..
  10. 1 tspKashmiri mirch powder
  11. 1 tspdhania powder
  12. 3 tspdesi ghee

Steps

25 minutes...
  1. 1

    Wash leaves of spinach and keep it in the pressure cooker for boiling....

  2. 2

    Before closing the lid...also add a pinch of Hing.

  3. 3

    Give one whistle only. Allow it to cool and set aside...

  4. 4

    Once cooled. Add dry roastedmakki ka aata into it..this adjust the consistency and imparts lovely aroma.

  5. 5

    Blend it Coarsely in a mixer...

  6. 6

    Now in a wok Add 3 tbs desi ghee..Allow the ghee to become warm and add jeera..

  7. 7

    Allow it to sputter and add chopped onions

  8. 8

    Caramalise them..and add salt now...

  9. 9

    Add all spices.

  10. 10

    Add chunks of Anjeer now.along wth it we can also add chilgoza seeds too

  11. 11

    Cover the lid by adding very little water and allow it to simmer for another 5 minutes..

    You can serve with paranthas,, naan or rice..The choice is yours..
