Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbutter
  2. 1 1/2 cupsugar
  3. 1 tbsplight corn syrup
  4. 3 tbspwater
  5. 1 tspvanilla extract
  6. 1 cupchopped almonds
  7. 4 eachsmall choc bars

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt butter; add sugar corn syrup;water

  2. 2

    Cook to hard crack stage (300*)

  3. 3

    Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and 3/4 cup almonds

  4. 4

    Pour onto lightly buttered foiled baking sheet. Cool for 5 minutes

  5. 5

    Place chic bars on top and spread. Sprinkle almonds on top. Set up overnight.
