Ingredients

  • 2 headBroccoli
  • 1/4 cupSunflower seeds
  • 1 cupFinely chopped red onion
  • 1/3 cupRed or white raisins
  • 1/2 cupMayonnaise
  • 2 tbspLemon juice
  • 2 tbspRice wine vinegar
  • 2 tbspSugar
  • 1 tspSalt

    Cut broccoli into small pieces for a slightly chunky appearance and place into a large bowl

  2. 2

    Finely chop the red onion, measure and add into the bowl with the broccoli

  3. 3

    Add the raisins and sunflower seeds into the bowls with the broccoli and onion

  4. 4

    In another bowl mix the mayo, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper into a second bowl. Whisk until smooth.

  5. 5

    Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and stir to combine. Taste and add more salt or pepper, if needed. Allow to sit for 30 minutes (or an hour in the fridge) so the flavors can mingle.
