Lemon Chicken...🍗🍋🍚 Delicious and Quick..!!

With this dish, I won over my husband about 8 years ago!!
He thought that because I was young back then ("22" and he was "32"), I wouldn't know how to cook.. but he soon realized appearances can be deceiving!!
It was one of my favorite dishes that my mom used to make.. I just made a few small changes and perfected it to 100% for my taste!!
Now it's also my husband's favorite dish!!💕

Fry the chicken pieces in olive oil in the pot you will use to cook the chicken until they are nicely browned, even if not cooked through (they will cook later).

Place the fried chicken on a platter. Once all the chicken is removed, add the minced garlic to the pot and scrape the bottom with a wooden spoon to loosen any stuck bits (this adds all the flavor).

Once the garlic is sautéed, add the chicken pieces back in. Stir to infuse them with the garlic flavor.

Then add salt, pepper, vegetable seasoning, oregano if desired, and the chicken bouillon cube. Stir and add just enough water to cover the chicken. Let it simmer for 30-45 minutes depending on how much frying was done!!

Before turning off the heat, add the lemon juice. Dissolve the flour or cornstarch in a glass of water and add it to the pot. Leave the lid off and simmer until it thickens. Once thickened, remove from heat.

Serve perfectly with yellow rice, rice with vegetables, and fried potatoes (ideal)!!
