Ingredients

15 servings
  • 1 1/3 cupall-purpose flour
  • 3 tspbaking powder
  • 3 tspdried parsley flakes
  • 1 tspchili powder
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 1/2 cupbutter or margarine (cold)
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 1egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cupshredded sharp cheddar cheese (6 oz)

Steps

  1. 1

    In large bowl, combine dry ingredients.

  2. 2

    Cut in butter.

  3. 3

    Stir in milk and eggs.

  4. 4

    Add cheese; mix well.

  5. 5

    Set mixture onto a lightly floured surface

  6. 6

    Roll into 1/2 in. thick biscuits placed 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheet.

  7. 7

    Bake at 450° for 8-10 minutes.
