Steps

Melt butter in small saucepan, do not boil.

In mixing bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.

While mixing, add in te egg, milk, and melted butter.

Batter is ready when smooth.

Heat a spoonful of oil in a large frying pan.

Spread oil over base of pan.

Using a ladle, pour two amounts of batter into round circles in your pan.

The two circles should NOT touch. Let the first side cook abt 4 minutes on medium heat.

Before turning the pancakes, be sure the batter doesn't run when you press on it with a spoon.

Flip pancakes with spatula.

Let second side cook abt 1-2 minutes, time enough for a crust to form.

Follow same method for all pancakes.

Serve pancakes hot, drizzled in maple syrup. Enjoy!
