Ingredients

40-45 minutes
4-5 servings
  • 1 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cupdates
  • 1/2 cupCashews
  • 1/2 cupalmond
  • 1/2 cupwalnut
  • 1/2 cupgrated coconut
  • 1/2 cupmelon seeds
  • 1/2 tspcardamom crushed
  • 2 tspghee
  • 3/4 cupwater for sugar syrup

Steps

40-45 minutes
  1. 1

    Chop all the dry fruits place everything in a bowl.. Roughly chop dates,discard their seeds..

  2. 2

    Peel cardamom and crush it's seeds keep aside.

  3. 3

    Grease a tray with ghee and set aside.

  4. 4

    Place a pan on flame pour 1-2 tsp ghee and add chopped cashews, almond,walnut,melon seeds,coconut grated..keep stirring constantly and Roast them for 2-3 minutes on medium flame..

  5. 5

    Take a pan on medium flame add 1 1/2 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water keep stirring...then the syrup will begin to thicken add crushed cardamom keep stirring..Switch off the stove..

  6. 6

    Add all roasted nuts, chopped dates mix well and pour it in a greased tray..

  7. 7

    Leave this to settle down for 20-25 mins..cut them to squares and serve..

  8. 8

    "Store them in an air tight jar"
