Ingredients

  1. 1brown onion, chopped
  2. 3 largepotatoes, peeled and chopped
  3. 1whole pumpkin, peeled, deseeded and chopped. I use Jap or Queensland Blue pumpkin
  4. 1400 gram tin Heinz tomato soup
  5. 2chilli cheese krankys thickly sliced

Steps

  1. 1

    Place onions, potato and pumpkin in large pot. Cover with water.

  2. 2

    Bring to the boil and simmer for half hour.

  3. 3

    Add tomato soup and kransky and simmer for a further hour and a half to allow for the flavours to really infuse.

  4. 4

    Allow soup to cool before completely blending with stick blender

  5. 5

    If the soup is slightly bland season with salt and pepper and add a couple tablespoons of vegeta or powdered beef stock
