Ingredients

45 mins
8 servings
  1. 2/3 cupsugar
  2. 4eggs, separated
  3. 2 cupgrated apples
  4. 1/2lemon rind, grated
  5. 1/2 cupmatzo meal
  6. 4 tbspalmonds, chopped

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F Fahrenheit

  2. 2

    Beat egg yolks.

  3. 3

    Stir in sugar with the egg yolks.

  4. 4

    Add the apples, lemon rind and matzah meal

  5. 5

    Beat egg whites until stiff

  6. 6

    Fold egg whites into Apple mixture.

  7. 7

    Grease a springform pan with Passover cooking spray

  8. 8

    Pour mixture into springform.

  9. 9

    Sprinkle almonds on top.

  10. 10

    Bake at 350° Fahrenheit until brown
