Pressure cook moong dal with 3 cups water for 4 whistles.

Meanwhile grind the coconut into a fine paste.

Once the pressure settles down, open the cooker. Add jaggery and cook it open till it dissolves.

Now add in the coconut paste. Mix well.

Cook till it comes to a boil.

Heat ghee. Roast the cashews and raisins. Add this to the Pradhaman/Payasam.

Offer Cherupayar Pradhaman to Lord Sri Krishna. Honor Krishna Prasadam.
