This was just a crazy idea I had. It does have a punch in spice, heated but not too hot. This can be made a week ahead and just do the last step as needed.

This was just a crazy idea I had. It does have a punch in spice, heated but not too hot. This can be made a week ahead and just do the last step as needed.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 4each carrots, washed and peeled
  2. fresh ginger 1/2 inch thick, about size of a quater, peeled
  3. 1 stalkcelery with leaves, washed
  4. 1 stalkgreen onion, rinsed
  5. 2 tbspgranulated sugar
  6. 2 tbspall-purpose flour
  7. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  8. pinchsmall pinch ground cloves
  9. 1/4 tspvanilla extract
  10. 1 cupmilk
  11. 1/4 tspallspice
  12. 1/2 tspground sage
  13. ground black pepper
  14. 1 tsplemon juice
  15. 1 tspgarlic powder

Cooking Instructions

40 mins
  1. 1

    Finally dice fresh ginger, celery, carrots, green onion

  2. 2

    Boil fresh ginger, celery, carrots, green onion until soft (30 - 40 minutes)

  3. 3

    Puree carrot mixture in blender

  4. 4

    Put carrot mixture in a bowl

  5. 5

    Puree rest of ingredients

  6. 6

    Pulse puree everything together

  7. 7

    Put in pot and Bring to boil, stirring frequently until thickened

  8. 8

    Serve
