Ingredients

dashsalt
1 1/2 cupsugar
2/3 cupall-purpose flour
6 largeeggs
3egg whites
1 cupmilk
1 tspvanilla extract
1 boxvanilla waffers
5bananas
1 tspcream of tartar

Preheat oven 350°

Add sugar, flour and salt to double boiler. Heat on meduim

Add egg yolks and milk. Whisk constantly

Once thickened remove from heat. Add vanilla

Layer pan with pudding, cookies, then bananas. Repeat 3 layers.

Mix egg whites, sugar and cream of tarter. Until firm peaks develop.

Add merrange. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Slightly brown.
