Ingredients

8 hours
8-10 servings
  1. 100 gmsDried figs
  2. 2 tbspSugar
  3. 1/4 cupmilk
  4. 1 1/2 cupsWhipped cream
  5. 2 tbspAlmonds toasted
  6. 2 tbspPistachios toasted
  7. 1/2 tspCinnamon powder or nutmeg powder
  8. As required Mint leaves to garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil the dried figs until soft on medium flame with just a cup of water.

  2. 2

    Let it cool down before you blend.

  3. 3

    Blend this to a fine puree using sugar and others with some milk.

  4. 4

    Fold in the whipped cream until just mixed.

  5. 5

    Freeze it until firm in an airtight container. Give it a light stir every 2 hours twice or thrice for a more fluffier, luscious ice cream.

    Serve it chilled with toasted almonds, pistachios and mint leaves.
