Steps

Wash & trim - off the outside leaves of the cabbage

Cut into quarters

Remove the centre stalk

Wash and shred finely

Drain well

Cut the carrots into fine julienne/long strips

Shred the onions and blanch lightly

Mix the cabbage,carrots and the onions in a bowl

Bind with the mayonnaise or natural yoghurt

Season lightly,garnish & refrigerate

Served while cold as a starter
