It's an authentic south Indian recipe. Veda is an very popular and versatile dish and eat with different kind of combinitions like Samber, chuteny and with curd also. Now the days it's very popular in North India.
Steps

At first grind socked urad daal in a mixture jar and make fine paste.

Keep aside for 10 minutes.After that add baking soda, hing, onion, ginger green chillies,cury leaves, black pepper and mix.

Heat oil in a kadhi/wok. With the help of water give a good shape of vedas and fry till got brown.

After frying transfer vedas in lukewarm water. Vedas got soft and reduced the excess oil in water.

Mix curd and sugar and keep in refrigerator.

Place vedas in a bowl and pour sweet curd on the top.

Garnish with boondi, pomegranate seeds and chaat masala.
