1/2 cupshortening
1/2 cupbrown sugar, 3/4 for chewier
1/4 cupwhite sugar
1egg
1 tspvanilla
1 cupflower
1/2 tspbaking soda
1/2 tspsalt
1 cupchocolate chips

Cream shortening, brown sugar, and white sugar.

Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt.

Mix in chocolate chips. Bake 375°F for 10 to 12 min.
