Steps

Heat oil in a deep bottom vessel on medium flame
- When hot add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves - saute for a minute

Now add onions and give it a mix until it turns golden brown
- Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and mix well
- Add green peas and potatoes - mix well until well combined with masalas
- 3
Now add tomato and mix again
- Cover it with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes
- Lift the lid and check after 2-3 minutes If vegetables are cooked and soft add rice and mix well

Add green chilli and coriander leaves and give it a mix
- Add three cups of water - cover it with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 15 minutes
- 5
Aloo peas pulao is cooked - turn off the flame and remove it in a serving plate
- Garnish with few coriander leaves and serve hot with papad or curd
