  1. 4chicken breasts
  2. 2 tablespoonsbutter
  3. 1 cancream of chicken soup
  4. 1 cancream of celery soup
  5. 3 1/2 cupschicken broth (store bought or homemade with bullion)
  6. 1onion, finely diced
  7. 1 cupcelery, chopped
  8. 1 cupcarrots, chopped
  9. 2chicken bullion cubes (this is in addition to the broth)
  10. 10 ouncecan biscuits, or home made biscuit dough
  11. Pepper to taste. I like the McCormick Hot Shot pepper. I cook the soup with about 1/4 teaspoon of it and add more to my bowl after serving

    EXCLUDING THE BISCUITS put all ingredients in, then cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Make sure the chicken breasts are still whole so they don't dry out.

    About an hour before serving, remove chicken and pull into pieces and return to the slow cooker.

  3. 3

    Tear biscuit dough and roll into balls (or don't. This is up to you, but make sure the pieces are small enough to cook quickly). Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center. Alternatively, you can find a good biscuit recipe and make little dough balls out of that for your dumplings.

    Eat this soup and then praise the cook for making such a delicious taste treat.

I cook for my family every Sunday. I love making soups in particular in my slow cooker during cold months. I think my pallette sets the standard and anyone who disagrees has a mutated pallette. My wife disagrees.

Absolutely delicious! I doubled the recipe and used two 16.5 oz cans of biscuits so it wasn't really soup, but the family loved it!
