Ingredients

  1. 2.2 lbsbeef round (about 1 kg)
  2. 9 ozpork chorizo (about 250 grams)
  3. 9 ozfresh cactus paddles (nopal) (about 250 grams)
  4. 9 ozcooked whole beans (about 250 grams)
  5. 1onion
  6. Salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the beef into pieces and cook with the onion.

  2. 2

    Add the chorizo to the beef and onion mixture.

    Cook for about 15 minutes, stirring to combine.

    Add 1 cup of water (about 240 ml) and cook for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add the cactus paddles and beans, then add another cup of water (about 240 ml). Cook for 15 minutes.

    Bring to a boil, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve.
