Ingredients

35-40minutes
  • 3large potatoes
  • 2 tbspcorn starch
  • 3 tbspbread crumbs
  • 1 tspblack pepper
  • to tasteSalt
  • Oil for frying

Steps

35-40minutes
  1. 1

    Peel the potatoes.

  2. 2

    Boil for 15 minutes intil potatoes are soft.

  3. 3

    Mash the potatoes with cornstarch and bread crumbs, salt, pepper.

  4. 4

    The dough will be very moist you can add cornflour or breadcrumbs ti dry it out.

  5. 5

    Put a sheet of parchment or plastic wrap on the counter and sprinkle it with flour.

  6. 6

    Put the dough on the parchment and place another sheet of parchment on top.

  7. 7

    Roll the dough between the parchment to about 1/4 inch thin.

  8. 8

    Cut out "circles" or "hearts" of dough use a straw to make the eyes and a spoon to make mouth.

  9. 9

    Fry the smiley in a pan until crisp flip them once in the middle.

  10. 10

    Place them on paper towel to drain.

  11. 11

    Serve.
