Ingredients

  • Store-bought sambousek dough
  • Kashkaval or yellow cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoondried thyme (za'atar), or to taste
  • For sealing the dough:
  • Water
  • Flour

Steps

  1. 1

    Shred the cheese and mix it with the thyme.

  2. 2

    Fill the sambousek dough with the cheese mixture and seal the edges.

  3. 3

    Fry the sambousek in hot oil until golden brown.
