Ingredients

  1. 8boneless and skinless chicken thifhs - cubed
  2. 1 tbssalt
  3. 1 tsppepper
  4. 3 cupsflour
  5. 1 cupcorn starch
  6. 1egg
  7. 2 tbsoil
  8. 2 1/2 cupswater
  9. Enough oil for frying
  10. 6 tbssoy sauce
  11. 1 clovegarlic minced
  12. 5 tbshoney
  13. 2 tspginger freshly grated (can substitute with powder ginger)
  14. 4green onions minced
  15. 1 tsppepper flakes (optional or you can use siracha sauce)
  16. 4 tspsesame seeds
  17. 1 tspsesame seeds (additional)

Cooking Instructions

    Combine the salt, pepper, flour and corn starch together in a mixing bowl.

    Add the egg, water and oil. Mix until it resembles a pancake batter.

  3. 3

    Add the chicken to the flour mixture.

    Heat the oil.

    Add the coated chicken pieces to the oil and cook about 6 minutes.

    In a separate small mixing bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic, honey, ginger, green onion, red pepper flakes and 4 tsp sesame seeds together.

    In a sauce pan, on medium-low heat, add the chicken and pour the sauce over the chicken.

    Coat all chicken pieces with the sauce. Continue doing so until the sauce thickens (about 3 to 5 minutes).

    Top with remaining sesame seeds. Enjoy!
