Moroccan Tagine with Onions and Raisins

Wash the chicken thoroughly with water.

In a tagine over heat, add a little oil, then add the chicken, chopped onions, and spices. Cook until the onions soften.

Add the sliced onion rings and raisins to the chicken and stir the mixture.

Dissolve the sugar in the cup of water and add to the tagine. Let it simmer on low heat until cooked through.

Remove the tagine from the heat, serve the chicken with raisins and onions on a plate, and serve hot.
