Ingredients

30 minutes
3 servings
  1. 500 gm mutton (with bones)
  2. 2Bay Leaves
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  5. 1 onion, chopped finely
  6. 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  7. 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  8. 2 tbspMaida
  9. 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
  10. 1/4 cup Yoghurt
  11. 2 tbspoil
  12. 1 tbsp Saunf powder
  13. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  14. 1/2 tsppepper
  15. 1/4 tsp dry ginger powder
  16. 1 badi illachi
  17. 1/2"Cinnamon
  18. 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
  19. 5 Cloves
  20. For garnishing
  21. 1 tspgrated fresh ginger
  22. as neededCoriander leaves, chopped
  23. 2 green chillies, slit

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pot. Saute meat till light brown. Remove, drain and keep aside.

  2. 2

    Fry onion, till golden brown.

  3. 3

    Add meat and ground ingredients, ginger-garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, yogurt, turmeric powder and bay leaves.

  4. 4

    Saute for 3-4 mins.

  5. 5

    Add required water (approx 3-4 glasses) and let the meat cook on slow flame till it becomes tender.

  6. 6

    Then dissolve maida in 1/2 cup water, and pour slowly in the meat, stirring continuously.

  7. 7

    Let it cook for some more time, and get the gravy to required consistency.

  8. 8

    Garnish with grated ginger, coriander leaves and green chillies.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with naan.
