Ingredients

  • 2bitter gourd sliced
  • 1brinjal sliced
  • 3drumsticks cut into cubes
  • 1/4raw papaya cut into cubes
  • 1sweet potato cubed
  • 2 tablespoonpoppy seeds and mustard paste
  • 1 teaspooncelery seeds
  • 1 handfullentil dumplings
  • 1red chilli whole
  • 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat oil and fry the bitter gourd adding salt and turmeric powder and keep aside

  2. 2

    Now fry the brinjal slices well adding salt and turmeric powder and keep aside

  3. 3

    Add oil fry the lentil dumplings and keep aside

  4. 4

    Temper celery seeds and red chilli whole

  5. 5

    Add the remaining vegetables and fry well adding salt and turmeric powder and cover it for 10 mimutes

  6. 6

    Add the fried gourd and brinjals

  7. 7

    Add the poppy seeds and mustard seeds paste mix and combine well

  8. 8

    Finally add lentil dumplings and sugar

  9. 9

    The sukto is ready to be served
