Ingredients

  • 1/2 cuppacked brown sugar
  • 1/4 cupbutter
  • 2 tbspmilk
  • 2 cupspowdered sugar loosely packed

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine brown sugar and butter in a sauce pan. Cook until bubbly. Whisk constantly so it doesn't burn.

  2. 2

    Take off the heat and stir in the milk.

  3. 3

    Gradually add in powdered sugar. Whisk until smooth. The frosting is ready.

  4. 4

    The cake doesn't have to be cooled completely to top with this frosting. Work quickly. The frosting hardens fast as it cools.
