  • 1 tspfive spices
  • 1dry red chilli
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • To tastesalt
  • As neededoil

    Boil the daal in a wok or pressure cooker

  2. 2

    Heat oil and temper five spices and red chilli

  3. 3

    Add the daal and turmeric powder and salt

  4. 4

    Boil it well and switch off the flame
