  2. 1 tspfive spices
  3. 1dry red chilli
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. To tastesalt
  6. As neededoil

    Boil the daal in a wok or pressure cooker

  2. 2

    Heat oil and temper five spices and red chilli

  3. 3

    Add the daal and turmeric powder and salt

  4. 4

    Boil it well and switch off the flame
