Heat oil and fry lentil dumplings and keep aside

Now add more oil and fry the vegetables

Add salt and turmeric powder and cover

As the vegetables get brown colour add water

Boil it well till it become soft

Add dumplings and mix the paste of poppy seeds and mustard

Add sugar and mix well

Serve it with plain rice at the start of meal
