Knead a dough using all purpose flour,1 tablespoon oil and salt..rest it for 1/2 hour

Divide it into small parts..

Make small puri from the dough..cut several lines leaving the edges

Now roll it from one end to the other and press the sides

Heat oil in a Kadhai..fry these Elo jhelo in medium to low flame till crispy

Make sugar syrup by boiling 1 cup of water and 2 cups of sugar...boil it till 2 string consistency

Put these Elo jhelo into the sugar syrup and toss it so that all the sugar syrup will be coated evenly...

Rest it for 5-10 mins
