Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder

Fry the fish and keep aside

Now add Cumin seeds,bay leaf and red chilli

As they crackle add masala paste and saute

Add red chilli powder and saute

Add tomato puree and mix well adding salt and turmeric powder

As the masala releases oil add water and bring it to boil

Add the fish and simmer

Garnish it with slitted green chillies and garam masala

Serve it with rice
