Ingredients

  • 1 jar (7 oz)marshmallow cream
  • 3/4 cupconfectioners' sugar, or to taste
  • 3 squares (1 oz)unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonsbutter flavored shortening
  • 1/4 cuphalf-and-half, or as needed

    Melt chocolate and let cool.

  2. 2

    Place the marshmallow cream, two-thirds of the confectioners' sugar, melted chocolate, shortening, and half of the half-and-half in a mixing bowl.

  3. 3

    Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Alternately add remaining confectioners' sugar and half-and-half until desired level of sweetness and consistency is attained.

  4. 4

    Easy on the half and half as it may become to runny.
