Ingredients

  1. 1 cupSplit moong dal
  2. 1Green chilli
  3. 1"Ginger
  4. 1/4 tspCumin seeds
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1/2 cupFinely chopped carrot
  7. 1/2 bowlFinely chopped capsicum
  8. 1/2 bowlFinely chopped cabbage
  9. 2 tbspGrated cheese
  10. 1/4 tspSoak Black pepper powder
  11. 1 tbspFinely chopped coriander leaves
  12. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  13. 4 tbspOil
  14. 2Green garlic leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak yellow moong dal for 4 - 5 hours,drain and add green chilli and ginger to make a fine paste.

    Add salt cumin seeds, coriander leaves and one cup of water to make a batter of cheela.

    Heat two spoon oil in a pan,add carrot,capsicum and carrot and saute for one to two mins till crunchy.

    Add turmeric powder,black pepper powder and salt and saute for one mins and turn off the flame.

    Add grated cheese and mix well.

  6. 6

    Now stuffing is ready.

  7. 7

    Heat oil in a pan.add two spoon moong dal batter and spread it.

  8. 8

    Drizzle one tbsp oil.

  9. 9

    Flip it and cook both the sides.

  10. 10

    Add stuffing in it and make potli and tie with green garlic leaves.

  11. 11

    Serve hot.
