Dairy products are always a good source of protein. Kheer has always been a favourite dish whether it is a celebration or dessert after meals. Kheer with cottage cheese and nuts is not only pleasing to eyes or tastes yum but very healthy too.
Steps

Take milk in a heavy bottomed pan and bring it to boil.

Simmer the flame to low and let the milk boil till it is reduced to one third. Keep it stirring at regular intervals.

Add sugar and switch off the flame when sugar is dissolved
- 4
Keep the thickened milk in fridge to be chilled for 2 hrs.

Mix cheese, nuts and cardamom powder in it and again keep the kheer in fridge
- 6
Decorate with nuts, rose petals and serve chilled
