Ingredients

6 servings
  1. For Manchurian balls
  2. 1.5 kgCabbage
  3. 1 cupMaida
  4. 4 tbspCorn flour
  5. 1 tspCoriander powder
  6. 1 tspGaram masala powder
  7. 1 tspBlack pepper powder
  8. 1 tspGreen chilli paste
  9. 2 tspSalt
  10. For frying Oil
  11. For masala
  12. 1/2 cupChopped Capsicum
  13. 1/2 tspChopped ginger
  14. 1/2 tspChopped garlic
  15. 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  16. 1/2 tspGreen chilli paste
  17. as neededSalt
  18. 1 tspChilli sauce
  19. 1 tspSoya sauce
  20. 2 tspTomato sauce
  21. 1/2 tspSugar
  22. 3 tbspCornflour slurry
  23. leavesFor garnishing Chopped Spring onion
  24. 1 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Grate cabbage and rinse all possible water from it.

  2. 2

    Add all ingredients listed above.

  3. 3

    Mix well and make small round shaped balls.

  4. 4

    Heat oil and fry balls till done.

  5. 5

    In a non stick pan heat up oil, saute chopped ginger garlic for few seconds

  6. 6

    Saute chopped onion and green chilli paste for few seconds.

  7. 7

    Add chopped capsicum, and quickly saute it.

  8. 8

    Add black pepper powder, red chilli sauce, soya sauce, and tomato sauce, sugar and salt.

  9. 9

    Cook on high flame for few seconds.

  10. 10

    Add fried balls and cook till 5 minutes.

  11. 11

    Add cornflour slurry and 1/2 cup water, mix well.

  12. 12

    Cook for 5 more minutes, switch off the flame

  13. 13

    Garnish with chopped spring onion leaves.
