Pound Cake

This is the recipe of (half) pound cake, since the real pound cake use a pound of flour, sugar, butter and eggs. That's why it's called pound cake! You can also use this cake as a birthday cake by just add butter cream on it. Happy baking!

Preheat the oven to 180 degree celcius.

Mix together butter and sugar until it pale, approximately 8 minutes using electric mixer.

Add egg one by one.

Add Vanilla extract.

On the other bowl, prepare the dry ingredients. Mix together flour, salt and baking powder.

By continuing mix the batter, pour half of the flour and sour cream/yogurt.

Pour the rest of the flour and mix until it well incorporated.

Pour the batter into the cake tin and bake for 75-80 minutes.
