Ingredients

4 servings
  • 10-12clean spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cupBesan
  • 1 tbsprice flour
  • 1/2 teaspoonAjwain
  • 1/2 teaspoonchilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonturmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoonchat masala
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededWater
  • as neededOil for frying

Steps

4 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl, mix all flour, spices and salt

  2. 2

    Add water to form smooth thick batter

  3. 3

    Add spinach leaves and coat well with batter

  4. 4

    Drop in hot oil and fry until golden brown

  5. 5

    Allow excess oil to be absorbed by Kitchen towel

  6. 6

    Serve hot with sauce
