Divide your cream into two bowls.

One part of the the cream will be used for the crumb coat and filling and the other for the finishing coat

Apply a small amount of cream on the board to as a glue to the cake

Even out the top of the cake and Cut your cake into the desired layers

Place one layer on the board and apply a generous amount of cream on it

Place the next layer on top of it and apply cream all over the cake sparingly this step is called crumb coating.it ensures that the crumbs in the cake are held together by the whip cream so that when you apply another coat of cream the first coat will not come out.place the cake into the fridge for 10 minutes for it to set

Remove the cake from the fridge and apply a generous amount of cream all over the cake and try to even it out as much as possible

Heat some water and let it boil.put it in a jug and keep dipping your offset spatula as your wipe the blade with a dry cloth and smoothen out your cake,this process takes about 30 minutes

Put whip cream in your piping bag with nozzle and decorate your cake as desired
