With a potato masher, mash your pre boiled Ndengu into an almost dough like consistency

Start by frying your onions until they are golden brown

Add your minced garlic and ginger and fry for about 3 minutes

Add your tomato paste and fry for about a minute

Add your coconut milk and allow the mixture to come to a slight boil

Add salt to taste

Add your mashed Ndengu and allow to come to a boil

Serve hot with plain rice
