Steps

Cut the whole fish into round slices.Wash thoroughly and sprinkle salt and turmeric powder.

Fry the fish tenderly in mustard oil.

Mix two tspn of turmeric powder with water to make a thick paste. Add the kasundi or mustard sauce to it.

Heat One tbspn of oil and add the black cumin seeds. When it smells add the mustard paste into it and fry well.

Add green chillies and salt and sugar.Add a little water. Cover your cooking pan with a lid after adding the fish pieces in to it.

Keep for 10 minutes turning up the fish pieces occasionally.

When the gravy gets well attached with the fish add a tbspn of mustard oil.

Serve hot with steamed rice.
