Ingredients

  • 1/4 KgMince (marinate it with 2 tbsp yoghurt, some salt, curry powder or tumeric, cumin and coriander powder)
  • 2Grated onions
  • 2-3 TbspOil
  • 2 Tbsptomato paste
  • 2-3Tomatoes blended
  • 1Small green capscium
  • 2potatoes -peeled & cubed
  • 1 Tspginger
  • 1 tspgarlic
  • 1/4 Cupyoghurt
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • few whole pepper, 2 cloves & 2 cardamon pods
  • 1/2 tspcurry powder/tumeric powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil fry the whole spices - pepper, cloves and cardamon pods.

  2. 2

    Add onions, fry till golden brown.

  3. 3

    Add ginger, garlic paste then cubed potatoes and capscium.

  4. 4

    Add tomato paste, curry powder, coriander and cumin powders till slightly cooked then

  5. 5

    Add the mince meat fry it for 2-3 minutes till color slightly changes

  6. 6

    Add blended tomatoes, cover and simmer till they are cooked and almost dry and signs of oil separating are visible on the sides, oil rises up.

  7. 7

    Add yoghurt and salt to your liking.

  8. 8

    Check on the potatoes to see if cooked, if you like lots of stew you can add some water and boil for a few minutes

  9. 9

    Sprinkle some garam masala over the top and lemon juice squeeze.

  10. 10

    Give it a quick mix and serve as preferred!
